Butler Theatre presents Waiting for Godot
Waiting for Godot is vast and intimate, profound and poignant, disturbing and reassuring, gritty and precise, familiar and strange. The music of Beckett’s language is exquisite and witty, crass and sublime. A play that changed theatre, in which ‘nothing happens, twice’, Godot juxtaposes vaudevillian gags with the deepest personal musings on the meaning(lessness) of Life—a deep dive that is ultimately uplifting.
This performance is free and open to the public, no ticket is required. Seating is limited and first come first serve.
Masks are strongly encouraged to be worn by all patrons while in the venue.
