Duckwall Artist Series: Butler University Piano Faculty Recital

Experience a memorable evening of piano music, featuring Butler University piano faculty Kate Boyd, DJ Smith, Amanda Hopson, Li-Wen Weng, Amy Chee, and Kent Cook.

The program will include works for multiple pianists, including Albert Lavignac’s humorous Galop Marche for one piano, eight hands – a piece that showcases four pianists on a single instrument – as well as Camille Saint-Saens’ Danse macabre, performed by four pianists on two pianos.

The program will also include solo works for piano by Chopin, Liszt, and more!
