How To Register

For over 28 years, the Clowes Education Matinee Series has provided LIVE ART. LIVE LEARNING. with accessible matinee performances during the school day for all age and grade levels.  Registering is easy!

A. REGISTRATION FORM: Complete BOTH pages of the Matinee Registration Form. Indicate only ONE contact person per registration. Retain a copy for your records. Incomplete forms without payment information will not be processed.

B. PAYMENT PROCEDURES: Registrations must include payment information: Purchase Order (PO) or credit card information or check included. Purchase orders must be paid in full by the due date listed on the Registration Form and on the invoice to guarantee seating at the performance. Registrations placed within 4 weeks of an event require payment in full.

C. SEND YOUR REGISTRATION: 

1) BY MAIL: Registrations by mail must include payment information: Purchase Order (PO) or credit card information or check included.

2) BY FAX: Registrations by fax must include a copy of your school’s Purchase Order (PO) or a credit card number. Fax to: (317) 940-8456.

3) BY SCAN TO E-MAIL: Scan the registration form and Purchase Order (PO) as a PDF and attach to email. Send to clowesboxoffice@butler.edu. NO Registrations WILL BE TAKEN by telephone.  For your protection, credit card payments cannot be sent via email.

D. CONFIRMATION: The name listed as the Contact Person and the Person Responsible for Payment will receive an invoice VIA EMAIL within 2 weeks of receipt of your registration; this confirms your registration. If you do not receive an invoice within 2 weeks, please contact us by email (clowesboxoffice@butler.edu). Clowes Education Department cannot be held responsible for registrations not received. 

E. FINAL COMMUNICATION: All communication will be sent VIA EMAIL to the name listed as Contact Person. Approximately 2 weeks before the performance, the Contact Person will receive a final communication of the student and adult seat count VIA EMAIL. Performance resources including curriculum materials and day-of-performance information can be accessed here at any time to prepare for a matinee performance or to be used after the performance. The Contact Person is responsible for forwarding information to other teachers, bus drivers, and chaperones in the group. 

F. REGISTRATION ADJUSTMENTS:  Changes made to your registration, such as adding seats after your confirmation, must be in writing. Email clowesboxoffice@butler.edu, subject to availability.

G. CANCELLATION POLICY: If your school is cancelled/delayed due to inclement weather on the day of the performance, or an unforeseen circumstance occurs that does not allow your school to attend, please contact the Clowes Hall front desk at (317) 940-9697 after 8:30 AM the morning of the performance. The Education staff is not in their offices on matinee performance days and will not be able to respond quickly to email or office phone. We will be able to credit your account toward a future matinee performance. Refunds are given if an event is cancelled by Clowes Memorial Hall and available in instances of weather-related cancellations or unforeseen circumstances of the group.
