POSTPONED FROM MARCH 21: Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra: Frankenstein

Due to Governor Holcomb’s announced steps to reduce the spread of the coronavirus in Indiana, events at the Butler Arts & Events Center (of Butler University) are cancelled today through Sunday, April 12. Click here for a full statement.

This event has been postponed, and moved to Saturday, June 6 at 7:30 PM. Your current tickets for the 3/21 performance will be honored on the new performance date, there is no need to exchange tickets. For further information, please contact the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra at 317.940.9607

When the original “Frankenstein” movie was created in 1931, it was a ”talkie” with no music. Many felt the film needed a score. Over 70 years later (2002),  award-winning composer Michael Shapiro’s score was created and set to this classic horror film. The audience will experience it now with live orchestra.
