“Singing is…” Every semester we reflect on the diverse answers that follow the beginning of this thought. Voices of Deliverance, University Choir, Chamber Singers, University Chorale and our special guest choir the Indy Urban Youth Choir raise their voices to perform the fruits of their hard work, shared efforts toward community building and their representative identities. Come join this exciting afternoon of singing the works of Benjamin Britten (Hymn to Saint Cecilia), Jonathan Dove, Argentinian composer, Astor Piazolla, and Icelandic composer Rauði Riddarinn, among others. The concert is free and open to the public: 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 19th, Schott Center for Performing Arts on the campus of Butler University.
