Black Violin
Presented by Clowes Education

Ticket Price: Student $8.00, Adult $15.00

Black Violin is composed of Kev Marcus (aka Kevin Sylvester) and Wil B (Wilner Baptiste), two classically trained string instrumentalists who met in high school 20 years ago in Miami. Between Kev’s violin and Wil’s viola, their shows feature an evening of strings, beats and rhythms that will have the audience both enthralled and dancing to the hip-hop beats. “As black men living in America, we understand challenges and we also understand the power of “I can’t”, yet we decide to live by and promote the poser of “I can”. We realize that every opportunity to connect our diverse fans is an opportunity to break down the barriers that separate us, empower individuality and encourage progress.” Don’t miss the chance to expose your students to an amazing musically positive duo!
