Avalanche is a showcase of new paintings by abstract painter Bekah Pollard, a 2D artist and educator living and working in Indianapolis. Originally from Peoria, Illinois, Pollard moved to Indy in 2012 to study Art + Design at Butler University and has lived in Indianapolis ever since. Taking an abstract expressionist and intuitive painting approach, Pollard’s work in “Avalanche” uses rich color, texture, and movement to show the beauty of creating something beautiful out of something destructive.
