Thank you for considering Butler University as the location for your camp or conference! In addition to renting out campus event spaces in the summer, the Butler Arts and Events Center offers residential hall housing to both groups hosting their events on our campus or elsewhere in Indy. Our summer conference season runs from Memorial Day Weekend through the last full weekend in July.

Irvington House is a suite-style residential facility made up of double occupancy suites that include two twin beds and a shared bathroom with another bedroom. Each room has a bed, desk, and closet for each occupant.
Amenities include:
- Laundry facilities on every floor
- Shared kitchen facilities
- Social lounge with pool table, ping pong, and arcade games
- Fitness room
- Outdoor courtyard with lounge areas and a fire pit.
Fairview House is an apartment style residential facility. Each pod unit features bedrooms for 6-8 people, with double occupancy rooms featuring private bathrooms and single occupancy rooms sharing a bathroom with another single occupancy room. Each unit has a shared living room, dining space, and microwave/fridge kitchenette.
Amenities include:
- Laundry facilities on three floors
- Shared kitchen facilities
- Gaming, media, and other social lounges
- Quiet study areas
- Fitness room
- Outdoor balcony and patio with lounge areas and a fire pit
Dining through our dining hall can be arranged through us to provide a convenient dining option on campus during your event. Specific event catering can be arranged through our catering team at Bon Appetit, who can be reached at catering@butler.edu.
Event and meeting facility rentals are available over the summer and can be rented in addition to residential options for housed events or as stand alone rentals for non-housed events. Details regarding space rental opportunities can be found here.
Additional equipment and guest linens can be arranged through Butler for an additional cost. Additional staffing or fees may apply based on event details.
