The Butler Community Arts School (BCAS) is dedicated to offering exceptional arts education to the Indianapolis community, including private music lessons, group classes, and summer programs. Located on Butler University’s campus, BCAS provides music lessons for kids and adults across a wide variety of instruments and styles—from piano and guitar to voice, violin, cello, and more.
Private Music Lessons
Private music lessons at BCAS provide one-on-one instruction with experienced Teaching Artists across a wide variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, voice, violin, viola, cello, and bass. Whether you're an adult refining technique and preparing for auditions or your child is learning the basics, our private lessons for kids and adults offer flexible scheduling and personalized learning at any age or ability level.

Butler Ballet Summer Intensive
The Butler University Ballet Summer Intensive brings together dedicated dancers from across the country for four weeks of rigorous training and artistic growth. Under the instruction of Butler University's renowned dance faculty and guest artists, students refine their craft through daily classes in ballet, pointe, variations, modern, and more. This summer dance intensive is for dancers in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas, ages 13+ looking to elevate their technique and artistry.
